Pleasant and fairly clean place with welcoming staff at a member of the cleaning staff. Fab location, 15 minutes' walk to a gay nightclub. Nearby a train station, pretty nice area.
Quite limited breakfast.

Quaint hotel with value for money in a good location. Functional-style building, freshly decorated and a decent size rooms with the blankets stripped off the bed and a single bed, as example. Eggs, sausages and bacon served for...

Location is great... Breakfast is very good. Rooms are clean and daily cleaned.
No possibility to hang up towels and no hooks for the jackets. Small cupboard for 3 persons... General room rather small... Breakfast room too small for the hotel. Extra charge for English breakfast is too expensive.

Good very central location and clean rooms! We were able to postpone our checkout by one hour for free. Tube was in close proximity. Since the hotel was in the side street, it was not so loud.
Small rooms, but normal for London. The bed was too small for people over 185cm and the mattress was very saggy at the sides. There were also small technical defects in the room. Breakfast was too meager (toast and cereal). Leaving suitcases in the hotel for a few hours was secured only possible at extra cost.

Room very nice, like in the photos. And TOP LOCATION!
The staircase looks like something out of a horror movie, but once you get to the room you are still positively surprised. Breakfast is just toast bread and cornflakes but it is enough.

Price/performance is fine. Location of course TOP. Room bathroom and WC clean. Staff but very friendly. OK for a night or two.
Very well kept hotel. Breakfast was very very easy. Coffee and 2 slices of toast with butter and jam.

Central location but nevertheless quiet. Large room by London standards
Breakfast consists of toast, jam and coffee. Period. If you want there is a choice of menu for an extra charge

The location is great! Perfect for a city trip :). However, the room was very narrow, if we were not so slim or taller (1.72 and 1.83) it would not have been possible
You don't necessarily have to take breakfast. There were only three half slices of toast with jam or honey and a very poor coffee.

Excellent location, the room was small but I didn't mind since most of the time I was out. It is a bit old and in need for some renovation, but there is a lot of wood and it is tasteful. Did not have breakfast, so no comment on that....

Location
Staff could have been friendlier, tea making facilities could have been in room. Lifts were slow so we used stairs.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I adored my time here! The location was perfect. Just two blocks from the tube and surrounded by good eateries and shops. Plus, the service was great, with staff who went out of their way to welcome me....

the location
the division between continental breakfast and english breakfast is a little confusing. You need to order the English Breakfast, but does it include juice and yoghurt, which are available on the continental buffet? Why don't they organise 1 big buffet breakfast, including the english breakfast?
